Chiquito Braga

Mineiro from Belo Horizonte, has his career connected to the great names of our music, with whom performed in concerts and recordings. Among them, Elizete Cardoso, Dorival Caymmi, Simonal, Taiguara, Nara Leao, Audio Imagery, Cesar Camargo Mariano, Tito Madi, Alaíde Costa, Maysa, Luiz Claudio, Ney Matogrosso, João Donato, Gal Costa, Maria Bethania, Beto Guedes Leila Pinheiro, Ed Mota, Guinga and Kay Lyra.

He participated in the tracks of the soap-operas “Brothers Courage,” “Red Summer” and “Gabriela”, among others. In 2005, he participated in the project “Guitars of Brazil” at the Palace of Arts (BH), alongside Paul Belinatti, Guinga, Toninho Horta, Juarez Moreira, Gilvan de Oliveira, José Menezes and others, and at the “International Guitar Festival “(BH), along with Toninho Horta, Juarez Moreira and other musicians. Chiquito was the winner in 2007 of the Trophy Pro Music, in the category” Best Instrumentalist of the Year. Today is dedicated more to instrumental music, having recorded the CD “Modern Frames’ with Juarez Moreira and Toninho Horta, where the three musicians sign the songs. With them has been performing in concerts, workshops and music festivals in various cities of the country.

He has also been developing AM authoral work. Signs the song “Sunrise”, with lyrics by Ana Maria Antoun, recorded by singer Kay Lyra, at the CD titled Kandagawa, in 2007.
